AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Downtown Amarillo will be a little bit brighter tonight. This morning the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post at 7th and Madison replaced their sign.
American Legion post 54 members say that the sign really needed to be replaced that the neon no longer worked and the paint was faded and the last time it was replaced was 25 years ago.
Members hope that the brand new sign will be a beacon of light in their neighborhood and a thank you to all veterans.
