Northwest Texas Hospital and Lifestar present $2,000 to Susan G Komen Foundation
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Appropriately on the first day of Breast Cancer Awareness month Northwest Texas Hospital went pink today.
Northwest and Lifestar presented the Greater Amarillo Susan G Komen Foundation with a check for $2,000.
The money was raised by the Lifestar crew and Northwest employees and they say they are proud to be a part of a great cause.
Representatives from the Susan G Komen Foundation say that all of the $2,000 raised, will stay right here in Amarillo for breast cancer research and prevention.
