If you think you'll have trouble paying for heating costs this year there is help available

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The days are getting colder but along with the hot cocoa and slippers turning on your heater brings higher costs to your budget.

Are you prepared to pay for it?

According to staff at Panhandle Community Services because of President Obama's Stimulus plan, there is a lot of money to be given to those who need it.

And they want to encourage cautious seniors, especially, that they are reputable and are there to help you.

If you want to meet the people of Panhandle Community Services they are having several workshops at these dates, times and places:

Monday, October 5 – 5:30 PM – North Branch Library – 1500 NE 24th

Tuesday, October 6 –5:30 PM –East Branch Library –2232 E 27th

Thursday, October 8 – 5:30 PM – Downtown Library – 413 SE 4th
