Gun rights among the first topics for US Supreme Court, how will possible changes affect Amarillo?

AMARILLO,TEXAS -- The gun control debate rages on in Washington D.C. as the US Supreme Court opened its term by considering the Second Ammendment and gun rights.

The controversy lies in whether or not their ruling last year--that the Second Ammendment guaranteed an individual the right to own guns, and to use them for lawful purposes, extends to the state and local levels, not just the federal.

Panhandle Gunslingers owners told ProNews Seven that even though a favorable ruling would probably increase their business, they feel like it would take too much control away from local government.
