GRUVER, TEXAS -- Alexis Marie Tyler ,15, of Gruver was killed in a one vehicle rollover crash. The crash was located 2.1 miles south of Gruver on County Road 13 in Hansford County.
Alexis Marie Tyler was driving a Nissan SUV south on CR 13. Tyler, an unlicensed driver, lost control of the vehicle sending the vehicle into a side skid. The vehicle overturned 1 ½ times coming to rest on its top. Tyler was partially ejected and was pinned under the vehicle. Tyler was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the vehicle Evelyn Pastrana 15, of Gruver was flown to Northwest Texas Hospital with possible neck injuries. Also in the vehicle were Daniela Luciano 15, Nicole Beasley 15 and Riki Jines 15 all of Gruver. They suffered minor injuries and were all treated and released from a local hospital. None of the occupants were licensed and none were wearing their safety belts.
