CMSA Sundowner World Championships begin today
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The cowboy spirit of the OK Corral and chasing outlaws is alive and well in Amarillo this week. The Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association Sundowner World Championships are being held at the Amarillo National Bank Center inside the Cody Arena this week, through Saturday.
The quick shootout sport allows riders to fire up to ten shots of blank ammunition at ten balloon targets as they ride across the arena, there are women's and men's categories and more than 400 competitors are expected to participate.
