Police say he was asking for drugs
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo Police have arrested Thomas Harold Lambert, 25, for a robbery that happened last week.
Last Saturday, Lambert allegedly approached the pharmacist at the Walgreens on Bell, asking for two types of controlled substances. When the pharmacist told Lambert he need a prescription for the drugs, Lambert allegedly implied he had a gun and told the pharmacist he had 30 seconds to get the drugs. The pharmacist activated the security gate, locking the suspect out, Lambert then left the store.
Using evidence left at the scene and by talking to other individuals. police were able to identify Lambert at the suspect. Lambert was arrested Tuesday, charged with robbery and booked into the Randall County Jail.
