TUCUMCARI, NEW MEXICO -- The Tucumcari Mayor has been found innocent of an animal cruelty charge. According to the Clovis News Journal it took seven hours to come to the conclusion yesterday.

A Tucumcari Animal Hospital Veterinarian, was among eyewitnesses who testified in court. Corey stated that the dog had no injuries to support the claims and did not appear to be malnourished, abused or neglected.
