Annual gift and craft show benefits the Sharing Hope Ministry
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- With Halloween just around the corner, Christmas doesn't really come to mind, but hundreds of early bird shoppers got in the Christmas spirit this weekend during the 9th annual Christmas in October gift and craft show.
The show features nearly 150 vendors offering something for everybody, from roasted nuts, to the perfect stocking stuffers.
Proceeds go to help fund the Sharing Hope Ministry, a ministry that offers and provides faith based materials to women who are incarcerated in prison, rehab facilities, or those who are transitioning out of those situations.
The Sharing Hope Ministry reaches out to local women, but also offers help to women in 28 other states. Locally a transitional house is in the works and should be open by the middle of next year.
The two day sale gives early bird shoppers a chance to get a jump on their Christmas list while helping out a great cause.
