Meetings in Childress, Wellington, and Mclean are planned for the week of October 26th
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Cross Texas Transmission, a company moving forward with the development of transmission lines to tie into the Panhandle's Wind farms will be holding public meetings the week of October 26th in Childress, Wellington, and McLean.
The meetings are geared towards those landowners affected by the project or those just simply interested in wind development.

"The people that have attended have found a lot of value in them and walk away with a lot better understanding of what we're trying to do, what we're trying to accomplish, and then also they have information and contacts they can reach out to in the future should they have questions as we move our project forward," said Cameron Fredkin, the Director of Project Development for Cross Texas Transmission.
According to Cross Texas officials several hundred Panhandle landowners will be affected by the project.
