Meeting will be held in Panhandle
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Panhandle Groundwater Conservation District will be holding a public meeting Tuesday afternoon.
The board will hold a formal hearing on the implementation of the district's 50/50 depletion standard in four proposed study areas and two proposed conservation areas. Those proposed study areas are located in parts of Armstrong, Carson, Donley, Gray and Wheeler Counties. the proposed conservation areas are in Donley County, near Hedley and in southwest Roberts County, both in the Texas Panhandle.
