Owens Corning has laid off employees both nationally and here in Amarillo. But there is good news as we come to the end of 2009. The Amarillo plant has called 55 employees back for the month of November, and 172 jobs have been restored over the last three months. A company source wouldn't speculate when more jobs might come back only that it would coincide with customer demand.
