Saturday's event helped over 35 kids from Faith City Mission's Lighthouse shelter get a brighter Christmas
AMARILLO -- Saturday, some deserving kids received a brighter Christmas thanks to the folks at Amazing Tans. They took over 35 kids from the Faith City Mission's Lighthouse shelter on a drive in some exotic cars, and gave them a holiday shopping spree.
Staff from Amazing Tans drove the kids from the shelter in Hummers and Mustangs, over to Toys-R-Us where each child received one-hundred dollars to shop for Christmas gifts and toys.
"Just helps their parents out a little bit, it also helps the kids have a good Christmas and we do it to see the smiles on their faces. It's an enjoyable day for myself, and it's good for my staff to see how blessed they are," said Jeff Hunt, Amazing Tans.
After the shopping was over each family posed for photos with the cars provided by Amazing Tans.
