Its that time of the week again when Amarillo Crime Stoppers ask for your help in solving their Crime of the Week.

This week's crime addresses a problem that has been occurring over the past several months.  A recent crime trend has thieves tearing apart air conditioner units for their copper content and selling them for pennies on the dollar. The thieves are not only targeting homes and businesses they have now started stealing from churches. The value of the combined damages and thefts totals to around $100,000.
