Westgate Mall was crowded with folks exchanging gifts and spending Christmas cash
AMARILLO -- Nearly one out of five holiday shoppers will be returning or exchanging gifts for one reason or another this weekend. On the other hand, many folks will be out store hopping, trying to catch the best after Christmas deal.
We made it out to Westgate Mall where many shoppers we spoke to we're focused on spending gift cards, and cash they received as presents. We also spoke to several shoppers out wrestling the crowds to not only find deals, but to exchange or return items.
"We got some deals, fifty percent off and stuff, and she ended up getting the size she wanted, we're trying to get out as early as we can to beat the rush," said Marin Torres.
"This morning when we got here, there wasn't hardly anybody here, but now my wife is standing in line in there with about thirty people, so it's kind of hectic already," said C.W. Steinbarger.
