PADUCAH, TEXAS -- A Paducah High School Basketball Coach was arrested after an investigation by the Texas Rangers. 40-year-old coach Charles Willison, has been arrested on charges of Improper Relationship Between Educator and Student, a second degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
This was Willison's first year of coaching the boys basketball team in Paducah. Willison had previously coached in Krum, Texas. He submitted his resignation to the Paducah Independent School District after the allegations came to light. The former coach was arrested Tuesday at his home in Paducah. He was arraigned and released on a $20,000 bond. The case will be prosecuted by the 50th Judicial District Attorney David Hajek in Seymour, Texas.
