If you have travel plans this weekend there are a few closures along westbound I-40 that you should be aware of.
New Mexico's Department of Transportation is stopping all traffic in Gallup for now. Motorists traveling westbound on I-40 will be stopped in Gallup until conditions improve. The Arizona Department of Transportation has closed I-40 westbound into Arizona due to heavy snow there as well.
