AMARILLO,TEXAS -- A meeting will be held today about the Lesser Prairie Chicken, some are asking for the bird to be added to the endangered species list. If that happened, it would cause a problem for wind development in the Texas Panhandle. The meeting today will focus on how the bird and economic development can co-exist. Information gathered at the meeting will be passed along to the Texas Legislature.
