ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Eastbound Interstate 40 is closed east of Albuquerque in the Carnuel area.
Transportation Department spokesman Mark Slimp says the eastbound lane was shut down while state police clear up several accidents.
The interstate was closed for a brief time in the Sky City area near Grants but has reopened.
