CANYON, TEXAS -- Canyon Police have arrested two men they believe to be responsible for the robbery of a Canyon man. An extensive investigation by the Canyon PD during the week resulted in the arrest of the two men.
Antonio Johnson, a black male age 23, and 21-year-old Matt Wilson, a white male are both in Randall County jail. Johnson lives near the victim, a $100,000 bond has been recommended for him. A $50,000 bond has been recommended for Wilson.

A Canyon man was assaulted and robbed in his home early Saturday morning. According to Canyon Police officers were sent to the 2600 hundred block on 8th Ave. Around 1:30am on a Home Evasion robbery.
The 46-year-old man reported that he heard the front screen door open to his apartment. He went to the door and opened it, an unknown subject stormed in knocking the victim to the floor and assaulted him. The suspect escaped with another individual and an undisclosed amount of money. The victim is physically handicapped.
The victim described the offender as a possibly black male, wearing Levi type pants and light colored hooded pull over top, with medium build about 5'7 to 6 feet tall. A description of the second individual is unknown.
