ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Difficult driving conditions are being reported throughout northern New Mexico.

No road closures have been posted, but a winter storm has left many roads icy or slushy.

Difficult driving conditions are reported on Interstate 40 from Tucumcari to the Texas state line.

Similar conditions are reported on I-40 in the Grants and Gallup areas.

Interstate 25 also has difficult driving conditions and some snowpacked and icy spots from north of Las Vegas to Raton.

Difficult driving conditions also are reported in the Silver City area of southwestern New Mexico.

Motorists are being urged to use caution and reduce their driving speed.
