SEALY, Texas (AP) - A roll of the dice put Mark Stolarski on the city council in Sealy.
The tiebreaker came Wednesday in city council chambers.
Wyn McCready and Stolarski tied in a runoff Saturday for the Place 1 position. Both had been the highest vote-getters on Jan. 16 in the five-person race.
Texas election law calls for lots to be cast if a runoff election is tied. Dice were used in Sealy, with the winner rolling the highest number.
Sealy is a city of about 6,700, located 50 miles west of Houston.
