HEREFORD, TEXAS -- Two Hereford teens facing trial for murder will have their day in court.

A judge has set the trial for 16-year-old Sygourney Grajeda and 15-year-old Damien Rodriguez for June 7th.

Both teens will be tried as adults for the July 30, 2009 stabbing death of 73-year-old Lucia Guajardo.

Around 2:30 that morning, Guajardo called police to say she had been stabbed in the chest in her home at 245 Greenwood.

Guajardo was taken to Hereford Regional Hospital where she later died from her wound.

Grajeda, Guajardo's granddaughter, and Rodriguez were arrested a few days later.

Both teens face murder charges, and Rodriguez also faces a charge of tampering with evidence.
