After ten rounds of gas shot into his home 67-year-old Virgil Lynn Spencer surrundered to the Amarillo SWAT team. The standoff came to a peaceful end around three Wednesday afternoon. Spencer was wanted on a parole violation for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, he has now been booked into the Randall County Jail.

The original incident that the warrant stemmed from occurred in February of 2008 where Spencer was arrested for firing a weapon off at a neighbor's house.
