A website called dailycaller.com has named what it believes to be the top 100 of the conservative friendliest counties in America, and our own Randall County has placed 45th.
The criteria for the nomination consists of median household income factoring in the cost of living, how counties voted in the past two presidential elections, and married family percentage.
"I would expect them to be a little bit higher when you look at counties around like the ones above and below. There are some fairly conservative counties in terms of voting behavior, but it's possible if it would have been before 2008 election we would be a little higher," said Political Science Professor Dave Rausch.
Jokingly Rausch adds that he hopes they have a Liberal friendly poll in the next few weeks.
