ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Authorities are searching for two inmates who escaped from the Youth Diagnostic and Development Center in northeast Albuquerque late Sunday night.

The pair are identified as 18-year-old Arturo Tafoy and 20-year-old James Davis. Tafoy is serving time for armed robbery. Davis was being held for burglary and battery.

Authorities said the pair got out through a skylight.

Officials are warning residents not to answer their doors.

Authorities said the men have gang affiliations and were sentenced to serve time until they turned 21.
