AMARILLO,TEXAS -- West Texas A&M Social Work Majors have put together a website for teens to give them a chance to express themselves.
It's called listenupamarillo.com, it's set up for all teenagers who would like to show off their poetry, drawings, narratives and photograph skills. It's also aimed at helping teens who feel like they don't fit in or just want to say how they feel.
" I hope they know that their not alone, there are several students in AISD I see that there are struggles in schools across the district and a lot of the same issues. We want them to feel camaraderie, and that there are other people that feel the same way," said Jacklyn Jacops WT Social Work Student.
They also want parents to know there are no personal questions asked of the teens, and only first names will be used on the website.
