AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Multiple Sclerosis affects 900 people in our area, and you can help find a cure just by walking.
Walk MS 2010 will be this Saturday in Borger at Crockett Middle School, Dumas at McDay Park, and the Activities Center in Perryton. All walks start at 10 a.m, with registration at 9:00 a.m.
Amarillo's walk will be next Saturday, April 17, at McDonald Lake at 10 a.m. with registration at 8:30 a.m., and in Clovis the Saturday the 24th at the Clovis Community College at 10 a.m. as well.
All of the money you raise helps people with MS, live with it.
Development Coordinator, April Brownlee said "We are really really proud of our financial assistance program we believe that people aren't dieing from ms they are living with it, and we should help them do that. If someone comes into our office today and they need help paying a bill or they need their home or their vehicle modified in some way we have a financial assistance program in place."
