(AP) -- DALLAS (AP) - Newly released plans for the George W. Bush Presidential Center depict a single building housing a library, museum and policy institute at the Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

Construction of the $300 million complex is slated to begin in November and is expected to be completed by early 2013. The updated plans released Wednesday provide new details of the landscaping, elevations and exterior design - including two parking lots north of the library - but no new information on its interior.

Designed by architect Robert A. M. Stern, the modern three-story George W. Bush Presidential Center - to be constructed of brick andlimestone - is intended to complement the university's Georgian architecture. The 227,000 square-foot building will stand amid a Texas-inspired landscape that includes wildflowers and prairies.

Privately funded, the Bush policy institute and library is also building an online presence on Facebook to reach new members and potential donors, the Dallas Morning News reported in Thursday editions.

The Facebook application already has attracted about 6,000 users, according to Colin Stewart, chief operating officer of the George W. Bush Foundation.

He said 6,000 of the center 40,000 donors gave their first gift online.

Organizers plan to start posting updates about the Bush center on Twitter in July.
