AMARILLO,TEXAS -- If you're one of the lucky ones that's going to be receiving a refund on your tax return this year, we have some good news for you.
Filing electronically can get your refund a lot faster if you're willing to go with a direct deposit route.
Some people are uncomfortable giving out their bank account information, but the difference in time it takes to get your money back can be a matter of a few extra weeks.
"Some taxpayers are reluctant to give their bank account information but for people who are comfortable with it, you can generally have your refund in 10-14 days from filing, whereas if you file on paper, it's probably going to take 6-8 weeks to receive your refund," said Larry White CPA and Vice President of Brown, Graham and Co.
