SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - Health care providers and the state Health Department will offer immunization clinics for children next week.

The department said Monday that public health offices, community health centers and some private medical practices are participating in the program to provide immunizations for children and young people up to age 18.

New Mexicans can get more information and find a participating clinic by checking online with the department at www.immunizenm.org.

Children can receive vaccinations at the clinics regardless of whether they are covered by health insurance or are regular patients of the provider.

The New Mexico program is being held as part of National Infant Immunization Week.
