AMARILLO, Texas (AP) - Scattered electrical outages were reported after a small aircraft hit power lines in rural Potter County, injuring both men on board.
The sheriff's department says the accident happened around 7 p.m. Sunday. Authorities say the two men suffered non-life threatening injuries. Their names were not immediately released.
Xcel Energy spokesman Wes Reeves in Amarillo said Monday that 29 customers were affected. Reeves says electricity was restored about two hours after the outage was reported Sunday night.
