Lt. Lisa Dawson, first female to become lieutenant for the Potter County Sheriff's office
AMARILLO,TEXAS -- Lisa Dawson will be the first female Lieutenant for the Potter County Sheriff's office.
Sgt. Lisa Dawson will be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on Monday, May 3rd. Making Dawson the first ever female lieutenant for the sheriff's office.
Dawson has been employed at the Potter County Sheriff's Office since May of 1983. She was promoted to Deputy in October of 1983, in June of 2001 she made Sgt. She has been the Sgt over the ID and Records department and also is over our communications and dispatch center.
Lt. Dawson will continue to be over the same divisions.
