AMARILLO,TEXAS -- The Liberty Bell rolled into town this weekend, as part of Amarillo's Armed Forces Week Celebration.

The Bell was escorted by the Texas Patriot Guard, the VFW Motorcycle Group Six, and the Hard Core Motorcycle Association.

It arrived to a rally held by America Supports You Texas. The purpose of the travelling bell is to ring and honor our Armed Forces.

If you missed the Bell this weekend, students at Amarillo and Canyon schools will have the opportunity to view the bell Monday. Monday through Wednesday it is expected to tour the elementary schools, then middle schools and the high schools on Thursday.

Come Friday the Bell will be on display at the Amarillo Civic Center, and Saturday at the "Celebration Freedom and Honoring Service" banquet.

Then on Sunday it will be at the Texas Panhandle War Memorial.
