HOUSTON (AP) - The Department of Public Safety says a driver died when his car went out of control on a Houston-area road and the vehicle ended up on top of a small building.
DPS spokeswoman Tela Mange identified the victim as 21-year-old Shaun Michael Finley of Spring.
The accident happened early Wednesday on an I-45 feeder road in The Woodlands.
DPS says it appears the car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit a curb and became airborne. The vehicle came to rest on top of the Ultra Bodies Fitness Center.
The cause of the accident is sought.
