Chili's fundraiser to help family of Josephine Johnson

AMARILLO,TEXAS -- Both Chili's locations here in Amarillo will be hosting a fundraiser for the family of Josephine Arias Johnson, the woman who was run over and killed at Whisky River this past weekend.

From 7-9 Wednesday night both restaurants will be donating 10 percent of their profits to Johnson's family to help pay for funeral costs.

The accident happened early Saturday morning, officers were called out to Whiskey River Bar. They found 30-year-old Josephine Arias Johnson had been run over on the roadway in the 4000 block of W. 51st St.

She had been hit by 27-year-old Gabriel Guttierrez who fled the scene. Police later found him and arrested him he has been booked into the Randall County Jail on charges of intoxicated manslaughter and intoxicated assault.

Three other people were also hit by Guttierrez that night. Those victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
