AMARILLO,TEXAS -- With school coming to an end and summer fast approaching August may feel like its a long way away. But it will be here before you know it.

The City of Amarillo and Children Foundation of Texas are getting a jump on the end of summer rush by hosting a free vaccination clinic.

The clinic will be held this Saturday for kids up to the age of 18. It will be held at the McDonalds at 1815 S. Grand from 9-2 p.m.

The city is encouraging parents to take advantage of this before the back to school rush. Kids without proper vaccinations will not be allowed to attend school.

Parents are asked to bring their child's immunization records. Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
