AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A foreign teenager drowned at a Memorial Day party in Amarillo Monday.
Police say the 19-year-old from outside the U.S. was at the home on S. Bowie with 25-30 other people. According to police reports no one saw the teenager go into the pool. One of the guests noticed the teen at the bottom of the pool. Guests, Firefighters, and Police all attempted CPR. The young man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe the drowning to have been accidental. An autopsy has been ordered.
