ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A 57-year-old Albuquerque man has been accused of bringing an underage girl from California to New Mexico with the intention of having sex with her.
Edward Christy was arrested last November at his home, where authorities say he was found with the girl and in possession of a computer that contained child pornography.
A federal indictment accuses him of one count of unlawful transportation of a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and three counts of unlawful possession of child pornography.
Authorities have said Christy met the girl on the Internet, then drove her from California to New Mexico.
