AMARILLO,TEXAS -- It's called the happiest place on earth and one lucky kid from Amarillo is getting his first trip to Disney World next week. Thursday, Make-A-Wish and Speedco had a cookout in his honor to send him off in style.

Aiden is a 6 year old boy from Amarillo who was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome, a rare autoimmune disorder. The Make-A-Wish Foundation and Speedco came together to send him and his family to Disney. Organizers say helping the kids is a huge reward for them.

"Just the look on their face and the feedback that we get from the parents, cause the parents know them the best of all, and so it's an entire family experience, it's not just for the kids, and so it's great for them to experience their child, you know outside of hospitals, and needles, and stuff and the greatest part for me is getting to see the pictures after the wish," said Megan Szydloski with Make-A-Wish.

If you'd like to donate or volunteer for the foundation give them a call at 806-358-9943 for more information.
