AMARILLO,TEXAS -- Amarillo firefighters responded to a house fire Friday morning a little after six.
According to fire officials the fire caused about $50,000 in damages to the home in the 2600 block of NW 5th.
Captain Bob Johnson reports that is was a small wood frame home with several additions added to it. A total of 20 firefighters responded to the call. Johnson says the additional units were dispatched because of access difficulty due to the many additions made to the home.
At this time the cause has not been determined and the fire is under investigation.
