Boil water warning in Fritch lifted

FRITCH,TEXAS -- City officials in Fritch have lifted the water boil warning. Officials say everything is back to normal. The test results came in Tuesday and everything looks fine.

If you get your water from the city of Fritch the city is asking you to continue to boil it before you use it. Friday a city maintenance crew hit a pipe while they were on a job.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality asked for a boil water notice. The city has done the required test, and sent it in, but city officials say it will take 24 hours to get the results back. They say they hope to have those results back by Tuesday. But they can't lift the water boil notice until those results are back.
