AMARILLO,TEXAS -- If you've been down Bell street in the past few months then you've probably noticed the construction. Well, good news for those of you who have to drive in it every day, the work should be done by the end of this month.
The city of Amarillo says they are replacing a 12-inch water main that runs from I-40 to 34th street. The project which costs over $500,000 started back in January near I-40. Workers have been working their way back to 34th and hope to be done in the next few weeks.
