Randall County Commissioners accepted some grant money from the Canyon Economic Development Corporation Tuesday.

The $250,000 will be used to make improvements to the grounds around the courthouse which was built in 1909.

That includes what is now the North Annex, which will be torn down to make room for another public area.

The courthouse is getting a full restoration at a cost of around $3 million.
