FARMINGTON, N.M. (AP) - A Farmington woman is accused of repeatedly stabbing her older sister in what police described as an intoxicated altercation Wednesday afternoon.

Police arrested 21-year-old Lisa Cisco and booked her for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon against a family member.

Farmington police spokesman Cpl. Sean Tepfer said police found 24-year-old Wauneka Blackwater suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Police took Blackwater to San Juan Regional Medical Center, where she was treated for wounds to her hands, arms, torso and back.

None of the wounds were life-threatening.

Tepfer said Cisco was intoxicated, had blood on her dark T-shirt and shorts and a laceration on her head.
