The investigation into what caused the gas pipeline explosion in Lipscomb County on Tuesday is ongoing. The explosion killed two men from Pampa, Johnnie Renner and Doug Odell, and injured three others.

Tuesday afternoon a bulldozer was moving caliche when it hit the natural gas pipeline, causing the explosion.

While several agencies are investigating the deadly incident, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Administration, is not sending an investigation team. The administration said its not under their jurisdiction.

Matt Matzner, attorney for the Nick Thomas Oilfield Service, the contracting company based out of Canadian, says at this point he can't really comment on it. But he did say they are still in the process of investigating the accident, and there are several different agencies investigating everything that happened that day.
