Dewayne Paul Hindman found guilty by a Potter Co. jury of murdering a store clerk in April of 2007
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- After 3 hours of deliberation, a Potter County jury returned a verdict of guilty of capital murder for Dewayne Paul Hindman.
Hindman was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole as the death penalty had been previously waived by the state.

Closing arguments in the murder trail for Dewayne Paul Hindman wrapped up Monday. The jury began deliberating around 3:20, and as of now have not returned with a verdict.
Hindman is accused of killing an Amarillo convenience store clerk in April of 2007. The clerk was working at B&B Discount on SE 10th when the incident happened. Police say they found Hindman's finger prints at the scene of the crime.
The murder trial began last week.
