AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A Randall County Grand Jury found no wrong doing on the part of a DPS Trooper who fatally shot Israel Leija Jr. back in March.

Leija was killed after a police chase that started in Tulia. Police were attempting to serve him a probation violation warrant. The chase ended after the car he was driving crashed at I-27 and Cemetery Road.

It was later learned that a Trooper opened fire, Leija was found in the car dead.
