HUTCHINSON CO., TEXAS -- The burn ban in Hutchinson County has been lifted. The recent rains helped lift the ban. The county commissioners made the decision on Monday to rescind the ban that was put in place last month.
Even though the ban has lifted, just in time for the 4th of July, County Fire Marshal Danny Richards says it is still illegal to shoot fireworks within the city limits.
