PARMER CO., TEXAS -- A Clovis man was killed in a wreck in the early morning hours Monday.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety the accident happened around 2:55 a.m. near Friona on US 70.
Troopers say a 2000 Chevy Trailblazer was traveling west on the highway, veered into the center median and hit a tree. Liberato G. Barela, 65, was not wearing his seatbelt, and died at the scene.
